COMUNIDADES DE ENERGÍA COMO ESTRATEGIA DE DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE
ESTUDIO DE CASO PARA CONDOMINIOS EN CEARÁ
Resumen
The global concern for the social, environmental and economic sustainability of the planet has sparked the need to develop intelligent systems and new forms of organization to overcome the challenges of a carbon-free energy transition; one of the possibilities is the organization of prosumers into Energy Communities (EC). Hence, the goal of this paper is to analyze EC as a strategy for a sustainable development; as case study is considered ALPHAVILLE CEARÁ - RESIDENCIAL 1 AND 2 condominium, made up of 1,002 residential plots. The study starts with the standardization of a Family Unit (UF) with an average monthly consumption of 1,158 kWh; using the PVSYST program, a 9.31 kWp photovoltaic (PV) plant is dimensioned using the UF's generation data; in a second stage, extrapolation is carried out for different levels of adherence to the EC (25%, 50% and 100%). The results obtained for the levels of participation in the EC confirm the potential relevance obtained by increasing the number of participants, providing positive financial results and contributing to the sustainable growth of the Condominium.
Keywords: Energy Community, sustainability, prosumers, financial viability.
