ANÁLISE DA VULNERABILIDADE À PERDA DE SOLOS DA RESERVA DA BIOSFERA DO CERRADO EM GOIÁS E DISTRITO FEDERAL

Resumen

Due to the global concerns about human activities' environmental impacts, the international model of management named Biosphere Reserve (RB) was implemented in Brazilian Cerrado in the 1990s. Nevertheless, this area is a target of anthropized areas, urbanization, agriculture, and pasture, since those can make this RB more vulnerable to erosions. Therefore, this work aims to analyze the vulnerability to soil loss in RB Cerrado, in Goiás and Federal District, considering the aspects of climate, geology, pedology, geomorphology, and of land use and land cover; values of vulnerability were given to each parameter and then was proceeded the algebra of maps, the development of vulnerability map and its categorization in five classes. The results indicate the predominance of areas classified as average vulnerability (76,27%) and the absence of very highs vulnerabilities, and emphasize the relevance of the nuclear zones of RB Cerrado in GO and DF to discipline the land use and the conservation of fragile areas.
