CARTOGRAFÍA SOCIAL: MAPA DE LA COMUNIDAD DIGITAL

Resumen

The insertion of multimedia in the art of making maps contributes significantly, not only to multidimensional cartography, but also to dynamic cartography. Because, as the transformations in space are constant, both the so-called Official Cartography and Social Cartography need a mapping that accompanies socio-spatial metamorphoses. This article aims to discuss Social Cartography and present the Digital Community Map (MDC) application, as a social mapping tool. In the case of this action with the MDC on the outskirts of Sobral (CE), the work has theoretical and methodological implications with regard to the empirical aspects using the application. In this sense, it is concluded that the territorialization of space and the dynamics of the place were represented by the individual agents who used the MDC.
