Resumen

This research aims to characterize morphologically ramp constituted by interdigitated and pedogenized alluvial colluvial deposits, located at the foothill and slope of residual hill (north coast of Santa Catarina State). Simultaneously, the objective is to reveal the age of the depositional event of these surface covers and to correlate with paleoclimatic episodes identified in the literature. The methodology used was based on the elaboration of Digital Elevation Model, topographic profile, particle size analysis and OSL dating. The result indicated a depositional age of 15.000 ± 2.480 years B.P., showing that the sediments were remobilized during a drier than current period, associated with the Last Glacial Maximum (MIS2). It is inferred that pedogenetic processes intensified along the humidity resumption that was established after the peak of the LGM, extending to Holocene interglacial climatic optimum (MIS1) and present days, responsible for homogenizing colluvial and alluvial materials; confer undifferentiated aspects to sediments and stratigraphic organization; develop Argissolo Vermelho Amarelo.
